It's the 一年一度的 Season of Giving! & Receiving? ;D

Christmas prezzies planning & shopping have been very early for me this year. Prezzies planning started as early as August! I hope everyone like their prezzie from me... It's with lots of efforts, thoughts and love!

Although I have never really liked shopping (wonder if it's bec I've got no money to buy leh, or really plain don't like..); but for this season, I had shopped for a whole week consecutively! Very 难得啊! Everyday after work, together with my precious gigglies, we will shop at different malls.
Till our feets gone crooked!

We had booked a BBQ pit at Labrador Park; but with the pouring rain, we "shifted" the pit to JH's new house! Poor JH & VV...Their new house is choked with the smoke! So, we shifted the pit to another place again. To the common rubbish chute outside their house! Eeww!

As I was taking a SMRT cab this morning, the cabby brought up the topic of the fare increment.

Cabby: You take cab to work everyday ah?
Me: Errrr......Not everyday la. (trying to recall if he got send me b4..)
Cabby: Coming 17th, cab fare going to increase liao ah, up by 35%!
Me: Only for peak period right?
Cabby: No, for the whole day! It's all the fault of ComXXXXDeXXXX la! Wanna increase; all cabbies can change job liao! 10cents up to 20cents, overall fare up by another 35%, no one will wanna take cab le! Now already difficult to get passenger, les say after the increase...
Me: Cab fare will be 1.35times of the fare stated in meter for the whole day????
Cabby: Ya!
Me (in my mind): How could it be...Should not be possible mah...

Yesterday's Article
What makes me angry is that in today's newspapers, there are cabbies saying that flagdown fares should be between $7 to $10!
I mean, imagine $7 + $2(peak hr surcharge) = $9 upon entering cab?! exclude all ERP charges?!

Due to my extreme laziness, I have been taking cab to work everyday for the past near to 2 months.... Yes. EVERYDAY. Guess I gotta resume my "morning exercise" of walking 15min to get to the 154 bus-stop liao... Else, I'd be broke even before mid-month! Sobz...
