Lucky Day it is !!!

Managed to go to the the Her World Fabulous Weddings convention today (all thanks to BB who got the email address for me, whom got the registration form from PB). Din wanna go initially as Da-Zi wasn't keen to go at all. However, we went anyway.

Convention started at 11pm, but all of us decided to skip the initial unrelated boring talk, etc, so we arranged to meet at 1pm. End up we met at 1.40pm. Late. Usual. AND, PB and partner arrived even later. Usual as well? *keke*

So, we went for the fashion show, and saw a "ru hua"!!! The show is only so-so... After about an hour of neck-stretching, we went eagerly to "enjoy" our high tea buffet. I was so very hungry then... Alas! There wasn't any tables and chairs for pple to sit down and enjoy the food! So, end up all of us gotta eat while standing. Jack was aiming for the replenishment of the "ha gao" and "siew mai" throughout the meal, and finally just as we were leaving, the waiter top up the long-awaited food. He took all (they topped up a few pcs only) and went happily to our eating corner. But, he was so disappointed when he took the bite... Poor Jack.

Lucky draw was scheduled at 4.15pm, so we took a walk around those "exhibitors" checking for packages before heading back to the ballroom for the anticipated draw. We were all aiming for that 3D 2N Pan Pac Presidential Suite stay, with roof-top dinner and champagne..But, we din get it.


1st prize was Gailia Diamond Necklace worth $5278 by Soo Kee. FD was announcing the winner's number 06... and the last number is also 6... (I'm holding 0676), winner is 06...76!!! We screamed in joy! We are the lucky winner to the 1st prize in the lucky draw! Had not won in any lucky draws, 4Ds, ToTo, whatever before, so I was really very surprised that I won! So happy...



Maybe will consider buying the rest to make it a full set? Hmm... *grinz*
