We planned a one-day stop-over at Hong Kong just so that we can go to the HK Disneyland.

At the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

Mirror, mirror, on the wall...

(if you were to look closely at the pic, I am actually short of Droopy. SAD.)

Welcome to Disneyland!

Artists at work! Free hand!

I will be back!

Haven't had time to do a lot of things... Failed to fully utilize the so-very-limited time... But what to do?

Taipei Day IV ~ 14.09.07

Through my friend's recommendation, we decided to hire a cabby. He brought us to GuGong, YeLiu, JiuFen, NanYa, Yin Yang Hai, BiTou Cape (scenic view of the Pacific ocean but be prepared to walk alot!) and KeeLung.
His charges is reasonable at NT2500 (will be NT3000 in Oct due to petrol price increase). Highly recommended if you have a few places to cover and want to know more about Taiwan...
If you are interested to hire a cab, you can contact Mr Meeky Yang at Tel No. 09-2191-5586 to arrange.

We had to wake up at 6am to eat bfast at 7am to meet cabby at 8am!
So, Early in the morning at 9am...

We went to 國立故宮博物院

Look at the floor: caused by the constant marching (or dragging?) of their boots.

After catching the procession, we proceeded to 野柳地質公園

(According to the cabby, Taiwanese are like not afraid of the sea, sun and heatstroke! - Fancy fishing in the afternoon and on the shore which stretches out to the big sea with the big tidal waves.)
Caught a man fishing dangerously when we reached YeLiu.

女王頭

It's a hot sunny day! *perspires*

We can't find the 仙女鞋!

As we leave YeLiu for another place (think it's a few hrs later), I noticed that the "fisherman" is still around! He not hot meh???

Guess what's this below? It's BingLang! The cabby insisted that we MUST eat.
It tasted err...nooot toooo bad, but very drying on the throat.
This is the look of it after spitting out.

Fishball (varieties of it) noodles for lunch at 九份

Back to sightseeing!

YinYang Hai

Random looks

鼻頭角

After taking a wrong (seriously tedious) route, this caught my eye.

Back on track!
- View of Pacific Ocean

My berms started to get heavier and heavier...
I can't walk any further. Hey! Wait for me!

Finally! We reached our destination - the most northern point of Taipei

And I tot the walk down is gonna be easy.
NEH...My legs wobbled at my EVERY step down!

By the time we reached the bottom, I am already too hot, thirsty, weak to take pics of the 基隆港 le... Quickly got into cab and proceeded to next site.

南雅

Down the "cliff"...

Oh no...Stairs again???!!

At KeeLung

基隆夜市

The look of the 蚵仔煎 is just so very tasty.
But once put into my mouth, it's just not to my liking.
Probably because of the sauce...I still like SG style!

It's a really tiring day...But I feel that it's worth it! Economical!
